Luke McMillin and Rob MacCachren team up for the 54th annual SCORE Baja 1000

For the 54^th annual SCORE Baja 1000, Luke McMillin and Rob MacCachren will team up and take on the field from Ensenada to La Paz on BFGoodrich^® Tires. They will compete in the McMillin Racing #No. 1 Truck, which looks to defend the 2020 Baja 1000 Trophy-Truck^® victory.

“I’ve looked up to and raced against Rob for a long time, even back when I was racing 1600 cars against him,” Luke McMillin said. “Not only I do believe our dedication and will to win is unmatched, but I also believe our racing approach is similar. We are not racers who just show up and drive. Instead, we are involved with every aspect with our trucks and teams making sure no detail is missed.

“Picking a Baja 1000 partner is always a tough decision because you want that person to match your dedication and passion to win. Rob was an obvious pick, and it helps that I truly believe Rob is the greatest off-road racer of all time.”

McMillin earned his first SCORE Trophy-Truck^® victory in 2020, and MacCachren has 17 SCORE Trophy-Truck^® victories during his career.

“Luke reminds me a lot of myself in his passion for continually striving to be the best,” MacCachren said. “I’m honored to be part of the McMillin Racing Team for the 2021 Baja 1000, and I know that we are going to make every effort possible to be the fastest Trophy-Truck to La Paz.”

During the race, the McMillin/MacCachren Trophy-Truck^® will be running BFGoodrich Baja T/A^® KR3 tires. Since launching in 2016, Baja T/A KR3 tires have been a part of three overall SCORE Baja 1000 victories, and an additional five SCORE race wins.
